Leadership Fairfax - Where the Region Turns for Leaders!

Do you consider yourself in the top 1% of the established or emerging leaders in the Washington metro area?  Could you benefit from being plugged into a group of people who shape the business, government and nonprofit landscape of Fairfax County?  Or would you like to stay connected to your community while moving your life from "success to significance"?

Then a Leadership Fairfax program is for you.

Leadership Fairfax's two programs, ELI and LFI, build a continuous pool of informed and enthusiastic leaders in the municipal, business and nonprofit sectors and are an investment in the positive future of the region. Each 10-month program brings together approximately 40-50 diverse leaders representative of the community--the for-profit, nonprofit and government sectors. Partial scholarships enable participation by those individuals who need financial assistance in order to pay the program tuition. These scholarships are critical to Leadership Fairfax's commitment to class diversity and community leadership.

A third 2-1/2 month program brings together approximately 20 retirees or individuals transitioning into their next life chapter. The Lifetime Leadership Program (LLP), in partnership with Volunteer Fairfax and supported by the Positive Aging Coalition, George Mason University, Fairfax County Neighborhood and Community Services and Area Agency on Aging is based on the belief that retirees can offer a wealth of experience, leadership, and vitality to the community while enriching their own lives.

Leadership Fairfax boasts a 25 year legacy of bringing the best and brightest together to create a synergy that not only inspires better managers and directors, but also connects them to their communities and involves them in making the region a better place to live and work. Whether you are an experienced executive (LFI), a rising star (ELI), or newly retired (LLP) with a wealth of knowledge and skills, the time you spend in the program will change your life.

Leadership Fairfax is truly the place where the region turns for leaders.
